OILS & ACRYLIC EXHIBIT Through October, our Oils & Acrylic class will exhibit various paintings that have been created right here at the Stuhr Center. Please take a moment to enjoy these beautiful works of art on display in the center's gallery. You, too, can learn to create a one-of-a-kind painting just like these by signing up for any of our painting classes. 10/1-10/31 VASCULAR HEALTH DISCUSSION Dr. Kent Williamson brings a love of research, teaching and patient care to his role as medical director of the Non-Invasive Vascular Lab at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. Wednesday, October 22, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. HALLOWEEN DANCE & COSTUME PARTY We will enjoy yummy mummy refreshments and have ghoulish music that will wrap around you like a cold wind on Halloween night. Those wearing the best costumes will receive ghostly prizes. Sign up at the BAT CAVE at the front desk so we will know how many spooktacular guests to expect. Must sign up for this event by Wednesday, October 29. Friday, October 31, 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. FALL PHOTO EXHIBIT Stuhr Center photography students will exhibit their work in the north wing of the building beginning Monday, November 3.A variety of subjects will be depicted. 11/3-12/1 VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION Join us for special lunch hour to honor the men and women who served in the armed forces. The celebration includes color guard presentation, special tables reserved for our veterans, and special entertainment. Monday, November 10, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. PRE-THANKSGIVING DINNER We invite you to join the Stuhr Center for its annual pre-Thanksgiving dinner. This is a meal with all the trimmings provided by Beaverton Loaves and Fishes for a suggested donation of $2.75. Lunch is served continuously beginning at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 11:30 a.m. THANKSGIVING DINNER Dinner is free and open to all! Held at the Elsie Stuhr Center (main entrance) Thursday, November 27, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. HOLIDAY CONCERT Enjoy your favorite holiday tunes, performed by our own Stuhr Center Chorus and Cabaret Vocal Ensemble. After attending this concert you may want to join one of our singing groups. Light refreshments will be served. Wednesday, December 10, 1 - 3 p.m. WINTER GRANDCHILDREN'S DAY This is a great way to begin the holiday season. We will have special holiday entertainment, refreshments and a visit with Santa himself.
