HEALTH AND WELLNESS  The Elsie Stuhr Center has developed cooperative relationships with several businesses and agencies. The classes taught by these organizations are designed to be informative and educational. However, we do not endorse or guarantee any of the products or services offered. Our hope is that you will learn tips and techniques that lead to greater health and wellness and an improved quality of life. HEALTH SCREENINGS FREE BLOOD PRESSURE CLINIC Volunteers will take your blood pressure the first Friday of the month. 10-11 a.m. FOOTCARE CLINIC First Thursday of the month. Nurses from Legacy Foot Care Services will trim toenails, evaluate foot health and give a foot massage. This clinic represents a long-standing partnership of the Stuhr Center, the City of Beaverton and Legacy Foot Care Services. The city provides the building (Beaverton Community Center), while Stuhr Center employees schedule all 100 appointments, make reminder calls, and staff the registration table.Legacy Foot Care Services provides the nurses. A fee of $35 is payable to LGSH. Call the Stuhr Center, 503/629-6342, for an appointment. |
