 Summer Concert in the Park SeriesAn acoustic bluegrass performance by Jackstraw at Carolwood Park brought our 2008 concert series to a close on August 12. During the summer, thousands of people enjoyed one or more of nine free shows coordinated by the Park District.Our summer concert series would not be possible without the financial support of local sponsors and hours of service donated by volunteers. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all those who made live music available for free to the citizens of our community! Although the 2008 season has come to an end, we’re already planning for 2009 and encourage you to take our end-of-season survey. Please check back in June 2009 for our summer schedule.
